This past August, this senior came to me for pictures and she asked if she could bring multiple outfits. Of course, I told her she could. We had finished the first half of the session and headed to our next location. When she had gotten out of the car, I couldn’t help but stare at her shirt. She had made this shirt in honor of her friend Caleb. Caleb is also a brother of a friend of mine and worked with my sister. I asked her how she knew Caleb and Courtney then began to tell me how upset she felt that Caleb would not be able to finish this senior year with her and how she needed to make sure he got senior pictures also. Courtney could have worn any other outfit but she chose this one. I told her how beautiful her appreciation for her friend. This was one of the most emotional moments I’ve ever had with a client and I will never forget how beautiful Courtney is inside and out for thinking of her friend Caleb who left this earth one year ago today. RIP Caleb.
