When Stephanie contacted me about her elopement plans (Thanks for the referral Nikki!) I was really excited to photograph it. I had never photographed such a small, very intimate ceremony before! Stephanie expressed to me how she wanted something stree-free and uncomplicated for this part of her wedding. (Totally understandable!) So as I asked Stephanie what all the details were, I realized that She truly wanted to focus on her fiance and children. I respected her so much more for her decision. As we all experienced the day together, I think it went exactly as Stephanie and Zach envisioned it. (Minus the spider… inside joke… ignore me.)

I am so thankful they allowed me to be one of the very very few people who witnessed their first moments as husband and wife. I’ll never forget it. It was such a unique and fun experience, different from the regular weddings I photograph. We get along so well, sessions with them are always going to be something I look forward to! I mean, who wouldn’t want to photograph their precious kids!
