This wedding reception was incredible to me. I have to admit, the day before my intern and I made our travels to the very northern part of Ohio, I was nervous of all the reports of HORRIBLE lake effect snow. News stations were reporting 4-8 inches and usually the first snow of the season makes me nervous to drive in, especially in my little Honda Civic I had at the time. I wouldn’t miss a wedding for the world but it helped to have Rose reassure me that the roads weren’t bad and she was so right. I was worried over nothing (as usual!)
When we arrived, I scoped the area to see what would work for us outside and inside the venue. I was SOOO excited to see such an amazing venue have beautiful landscaping that was even more beautiful with all the snow! It was so cold but I am so thankful that the bridal party was cooperative in getting these outdoor shots. As a photographer, these are so different from the rest of my portfolio. For Rose, she had expressed over and over since viewing her preview image how happy she was with the snow even though she wasn’t expecting it.
The rest of the wedding reception went on just as Rose and Dan wanted it to be, FUN! Everyone was having a great time. Emily and I had so much fun photographing this wedding!
Thank you so much for reading about their special day. If you would like an event or session photographed, please feel free to visit envphotographyy.com and view the ‘Contact’ page to learn how to contact us about a session!
