Ethan’s Snowy Senior Session || Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer

I know it’s pretty typical to have your senior pictures done in the Fall….. That’s the majority of when I get most of my inquiries for senior pictures. But for people like Ethan, I enjoy celebrating another seasons with sessions. I feel like winter, for the most part, isn’t welcomed as happily as other seasons. But truly, winter is one of my favorites! Yes, of course I know it’s cold and the weather can be less than pleasant at times. Those aspects aren’t worth hindering such a unique experience to get pictures done in the snow! I have always tried to encourage people to step out of the box and try something new!

This year, I’ve had a few clients have their images taken in the snow. The neutral tones of brown and gray along with deep evergreen greens are well suited especially for guys who like that rustic look!

Ethan, like all my other wonderful clients, was great about dealing with the cold. I often act a little crazier than normal and keep a constant conversation going to try to keep their minds off the cold. By doing so, I did get him to crack a couple genuine smiles! haha I had a great time working with Ethan and his parents. I will see him again in the spring to finish up his Senior Plus package!

  1. Love how relaxed these photos are! Its so hard to pose a teenager and yet get a natural, relaxed feel , but you did it! Great job!

  2. these are great!! I have to say I agree with you and love the contrast of the browns and greens with the white of the snow, it definitely does lend to that rustic appeal.
