I’ve had a lot of first birthday babies lately. Each one is different in their own beautiful way. They also come with their own, mommy-chosen style. While they opted out of a cake smash, Payton had some really awesome outfits. The birthday shirt, beautiful purple tutu and the really awesome ‘happy birthday’ leg warmers. Payton is so vocal and loves when her dad makes monkey sounds. It made her laugh every time. Getting to photograph these babies and watch the parents bask in the glory of surviving the first year is something that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I’m always thankful I get to capture this moment for families.
