Nick & Cheryl’s wedding was amazing! It was a perfect mix of emotion and fun. Upon arriving and after walking the grounds, I went to start photographing Cheryl while Jonathan photographed decor details with our intern Jessyca. Cheryl was surrounded by her bridesmaids while getting make up done. With Starbucks cups and make up scattered everywhere, I started photographing the moments that started their special day. Cheryl was so anxious to get down the aisle to her soon to be husband. Even before getting dressed she was pacing the room and saying things like ‘I can’t believe this is happening!’ February 28th was a meaningful date for them. It was the day they first started dating. So five years later, they stood in the center of the Tracy Barn at Quail Crest Farm and promised to make that date another significant meaning, it’s the day that they promised God and everyone that they would work together as a team and be there for each other forever.
With so much snow, you can guess that getting these beautiful ladies outside to a safe standing spot was a tough job. Luckily, there was a spot I found that worked out better than expected. This is a shout out to you ladies for being absolutely wonderful posing in the cold. You really rocked it and looked fabulous doing so! Upon posting Nick and Cheryl’s sneak peek image on our facebook page, followers were very vocal about how much they LOVED Cheryl’s style. Her dress, shoes, and hair/makeup complimented her so well. I honestly think she looks an American Kate Middleton with her look. Absolutely classic.
It was such a blessing to meet Nick and Cheryl. Their love for each other is sweet. Literally. You look at them and just want to go ‘Awww.’ and that’s exactly the reactions we heard at their reception along with many laughs and good music.
