It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for this engagement session! BACK STORY FOR THIS COUPLE: We had their session scheduled in November but the day initially scheduled was so dreary and it was sleeting, just completely YUCK! After Katie and I discussed it, we knew the weather would get worse as winter approached. Katie decided we would plan for April and hope for NO RAIN!
Months later, the day arrived and it was beautiful! So beautiful that there was no place to park by the falls because everyone else was so happy and excited to embrace the great weather too. After a bit of waiting, we found a parking spot and went to shoot their session. This location reminds me so much of the Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg. It looks so much different than the rest of Knox County.
Katie and Jason were so adventurous and I was loving that! They didn’t mind climbing over rocks and ducking under trees to get the perfect shot. I had a great time catching up with them, hearing about finishing up final wedding details and just the excitement they have to be husband and wife.
You’ll be seeing more of Katie and Jason this summer as ENV also celebrates and captures their wedding day! We. can’t. wait!
