Under the bright green trees of Spring at the historic Kelton House in downtown Columbus, a handpicked group of loved ones awaited Colleen and William and witness the beginning of a new journey.
With hints of lace and lavender, each bridesmaid walked their way down the stone paved path. The moment this beautiful bride turned the corner with her father, she was beaming. She has a giant smile from ear to ear. When Colleen finally got to her husband-to-be, she eagerly reached out her hand wanting his. That instant, started their first moments as husband and wife.
This couple is not that of two halves making a whole, but two wholes who spent years getting to know every part of each other’s personalities, favorite movies and literature. Colleen and William each pulled out hand written vows during the ceremony. Their vows were written for no one but each other. Unfiltered and raw, explaining the rough moments and the happiest moments and promising to accept each other for who they were and enjoy it for the rest of their lives.
Their reception at the industrial chic Dock 580 (LOVE the look of this venue!) was not short of giggles, great dance moves and sweet kisses.
With a bright future as one being a doctor and one an educator, this couple will have no problem settling in to their new life together in Chicago.
