Believe it or not, Samantha’s session was not the first time I had met her. In May, I was photographing a senior model right before prom and a bunch of other students showed up. Samantha happened to be one of them! I did a free quick mini session with each student that was curious enough come over to our little pow wow and that was the first time I met and photographed Sam.

I am so thankful that she and her parents remembered me. While at Sam’s session, we talked about band which she participates in at her school. She said band camp was coming up and she was so excited but sad that it would be her last one at Fredericktown with all of her friends. I had so many questions about Band Camp! From what Sam told me, it sounds like so much fun. Like a little vacation before school start with of course some moments of hard work!

We are excited to see more of Sam as we continue to document her senior year! I know she is going to have a great year!
